Staten Island Ferry

What’s a visit to NYC without seeing the Statue of Liberty? This is probably one of the most famous landmarks in the whole world - and it’s actually easy to “visit” than you think! Yes, “visit” with the quotation marks.

If you’re on a budget, like me, and a simple sight of Miss Liberty is enough, there’s a free ferry in NYC which passes by the statue and operates 24/7. It’s called the Staten Island ferry. Run by the NYC Department of Tourism, it has been providing service to New Yorkers since 1817. If you’re coming from Manhattan, the terminal is near Battery Park at Whitehall Terminal. Make sure to add this in your itinerary on your next visit! Now, enjoy some photos taken by yours truly during my visit to NYC.
